Monroe Township Fire Department
District 2 | Station 57
Board of Fire Commissioners
The Township of Monroe has three distinct fire districts, each of which is governed by its own elected Board of Fire Commissioners. This dedicated board is responsible for making and enforcing essential rules, setting important operational standards, and effectively handling the budget related to fire taxes. In addition to these critical functions, the board also manages the fire department's vehicles, which are vital for emergency response, purchases and maintains safety and firefighting gear to ensure the protection of our firefighters, and guarantees that comprehensive training programs are available for all department members to enhance their skills and readiness.
MONTHLY MEETING SCHEDULE
Meetings are regularly held at 7:00 pm on the second Wednesday of each month, with the exception of January, when the meeting will take place on the third Wednesday instead. Any special meetings that may be scheduled or any changes to the regular meeting times will be promptly posted to this website. Additionally, these important updates will also be published in the District's designated newspaper of record to ensure that all community members are well-informed.
